Last year, Giving What We Can, one of the world’s leading effective charities, and close partners of Effective Giving Ireland, surpassed 10,000 🔸10% pledgers! That is: 10,000 people have now signed up to pledge to donate 10% of their lifetime income to effective charities. Effective Giving Ireland presented another donation event on November 19th: A Grand Evening – How would YOU donate €1000? We let the attendees decide, in total freedom, how to donate 1000 euros.

Effective Giving Ireland was thrilled to host some of the world’s leading thinkers on effective giving at an event in Dublin on September 18th. We learned that Irish people are even more passionate about giving than we had realised, and that we can fill a vital gap in the Irish Charity sector by providing relialble, independent information on charities' impact to people who want their donations to help as many people as possible.
